i wait a few minutes
usually this is in the morning...so i dont vtec at all
but at night , i wait just a few minutes just to be sure everything is allright

is option #2 ok if you do it once in a while? . i believe xviper stated somewhere that if honda made it possible to vtec at 3 bars, than it should be ok for your engine(even up to 9k rpm). all input is appreciated
