How long do you wait till you engage vtec on each trip?
do you either wait like a couple minutes after 3 bars(on the temp gauge) to engage vtec to fully ensure the oil is warmed up OR do you go for it right when you see 3 bars?
just another question out of boredem. im bored as hell here at work.

is the term vtec refers just to the point where it kicks or from there all the way to redline? i didn't say 9k because i'm sensitive to the diverse population that we have here. 
Just for extra security.

Its not the oil temp you should be worried about as much as the temp of all of the internal parts of the engine. I wait at least 5 minutes after it reachs 3 bars.
