I have more of a love/hate relationship with this car.
Last month I would have given it away.
But I like it now.
I may give it to my son who is now 6 but he already said he wants a Ferrari.
So who knows.
The longest I have kept a car is 16 years and counting.
My 930 I had for 14 years.

The only thing I would trade for is the NSX for under $60K. I'm not convinced such a car will exist, so until then it's a keeper. Plus my lady likes this one, and that doesn't happen often.

Nothing is forever, especially at my age. My stook only has 1500 great miles in a year of ownership. In Ohio, unless a daily driver, for sport driving, you get top down weather only about 6months. I will keep it until death do us part...or until something else grabs my attention.

I've been involved in activities so important to me that I'll say: "I can't imagine life without ..." But over time, attitudes, desires, and abilities sometimes change, and it is difficult to predict why or when. This is a great car that, for me, represents the essence of driving. I can't imagine life without...

I cannot image anyone getting rid of their S2000. I plan to be driving mine when I'm old and grey -- BTW I'm only 28 now!!! I wouldn't mind adding a NSX to the collection one day...but I'm not holding my breath!

Either I'll keep the S2K for a really long time as a classic and own other cars at the same time
or
I'll trade it for a blue one (???) if that ever happens or Honda's next fantastic sports car, possibly the next NSX if I can afford it!!

This car will be out of my drive way by middle of next year definitely.
I love it but I am starting to hate it as well. Always some stupid problem comes up in this car.
My next car is most likely the New 2001 M3.
P.S. I also think Honda dealers have the WORST customer service that I have ever encountered.

I plan to keep my S2000 for a very long time. I have trouble convincing my wife of this, but this time I really mean it.
Here's why she is skeptical, my previous recent car owning history:
97 M3 - 24 months
96 328 - 12 months
96 Golf GTI VR6 - 3 months
96 Accord - 6 months
95 del Sol - 14 months
94 Miata - 6 months
95 Camry - 12 months

How can you people be so attached to a HONDA??? It's just a HONDA... has no soul... bla, bla, bla... What's up with you???
BTW: After 13 months of ownership. This one IS a keeper.
Disclaimer: I've never sold any of the vehicles that I've ever purchased. Why buy it unless you plan to keep it. (disclaimer subject to change)
