Obviously disregarding the obvious like totaling it, or having to sell it becuase of unforseen reasons...
How long do you think you will keep your s2k?
As for me, I plan to hold on to this car for the long run. I have had it for almost a year now, and the excitement never ceases.

My current plan is to keep it until it breaks. There isn't any other car out there that I can afford that I'd rather have. Now, if the V8 NSX comes along at $55k, and I can afford it, yeah, I'll trade in my S2000.

The longest I have ever owned a car is two years. That was my E-36 M3. (Dakkar Yellow)
I think I might break that record with the S2000. It's already been a year and I still love it and have no desire to buy anything else.

Yup, Yup.
I will dump the Stook...
When I step into the garage and and see its beauty, its fine and powerful curves and don't grin widely anymore.
When I slide gently down into the drivers seat hands on the perfectly positioned and proportioned wheel and think it's a bit cramped.
When I punch the throttle and feel the rumble and roar of the engine screaming past 6..7..8 and then at the blink of the light, in one quick motion snick-snick into the next gear and don't feel like throwing up my hands and screaming YAAHOO!!
When I no longer look back over my shoulder as I walk away.
I'm not sure it can be measured in chronological time but rather in emotional time. When it simply does nothing for me and I wish I had something else instead, I'll get off and let someone else have a turn.
