It's no harder to get the S2000's tail out, but long power slides take more finesse with the S2000. If the finesse isn't there, the S2000 will get you into trouble, and will do so a LOT quicker than the Miata.

It's pretty easy if you know what you're doing.
It can happen suddenly and uncontrollably if you don't.
Take the car to autocross events and you'll develop a good feel for what the car will and will not do depending on how you drive it.

S is real scary sometimes... I can't feel the rear end. Last time I made a quick right turn into the big street because I tried to beat the yellow light. I was already at 2nd gear and all I did was making a faster than usual right turn (wasn't even 90 degree turn). I literally drifted onto the big street (glad that the road was wide), and I immediately counter-steered to get the control back. This is my 2nd time spinning and I was lucky both of the times. I seriously think one day something shitty is gonna happen lol. All I have to say is one must be really careful with S during "COLD WEATHER."

I don't "drift" one the street, especially in the rain. The S2000 can just be too darn unforgiving of mistakes, and it's not worth the risk. Besides, going around one corner with the tail hanging out isn't really drifting anyway; Unless you go into the turn sideways, it's just a power slide.
Silentdancer, it's just a matter of time. I just hope nobody gets hurt.

Seriously though, s2000, w/ stock setup and stagger isn't tough. reduce stagger w/ no sway bar adjustment and it is even scarier. Snap oversteer scares me sometimes, I have just learned to be pre-emptive for it, but it can still come on fast.
