Only 3200 mi, but no noticable treadwear.

A dumb question...is it not possible to get the OEM tires?

S2Kguy,

What have you heard about the S03's? I know there have been some posts on these, but I was unable to find them. Is treadwear rated better? Also, when are they supposed to be available?

My last rear OEM's lasted 18,000 miles.....way dangerous driving in the rain! Can you say "hydroplane"?

After 3700 miles the fronts are still like new. The rear's look like they would have lasted another 1000 or 2.

REVS29K

The S03s in the standard oem 205 and 225 sizes are out. They have a treadwear rating of 220, so should last a good deal longer than S02s. I just put a set on my stook due to the better rain handling. So far so good.

Thanks legalrep. Sounds like the way I'll go also. They have to be an improvement on the PP's.

I've heard that the S03's are stickier than one might imagine with their TWR, and they last much longer from what my Japanese friends say. The Mugen fellas seemed to really like them, and they are familiar with the PP's (which everyone seems disappointed with)...to answer your question REVS, but thanks for that post LEGAL, it's just what I was going to say.

From day one, they went from BAD to WORSE each day. With all the torque we have, I could spin with just a blip of the throttle!
