How fast have your pole positions worn?
I replaced my original rear S02's at 17,000 miles. I was pretty happy with the mileage considering what I heard others had done. I bought the S02 PP's which I thought have even a better wear rating. I just checked them out and the wear bars are flat and they only have 7,000 miles on them! My driving style hasn't changed and I haven't autocrossed or raced the car. I'm going to have to look into a different tire because I can't afford this rate of replacement. The fronts are now worn out so I'll replace all four.
Anyone else had this experience with the PP's?

I went through my OEM's in 12k miles. Then I went through my S02 PolePOSitions after 6k miles.
Yes, they do wear alot faster than the OEMS. They also seem to disintegrate easier as they wear too!
Now I am using Michelin Pilot Sports on all 4 wheels and love them so far. They are a better replacement tire than the S02 PolePositions, but not as good as the OEM.
I have 7k miles on my Michelins now and they should last me another 5-7k miles, I hope!

The OEM rears are bald, have been since 8,000 miles or so, I'm getting the S03's when they come in. The fronts should last another 5-7K, but I'm replacing those baloons with 205-50-16 S03's anyway.
