How far is too far to travel for an S?

Didn't see a picture of the car. Talked to the seller on the phone. Booked the flight. Didn't make a deposit.
Flied from GA to VA 2~3 weeks later. Seller picked me up at the airport. Went to his house. Paid money drove 9 hours back home.
No regret whatsoever. If it's destined to be your car, don't let it go.
Good luck.

I didn't have to drive very far to get my S. That being said, there is nothing more exciting than taking your newly purchased S2000 home for the first time. I pumped my fist in the air and screamed like an excited 10 year old at Christmas all the way home (about 6 miles). I can only imagine how exhilarating a 200+ mile first drive home would have been.

I flew from Arizona to North Carolina then took a charter plane from there to Dayton Ohio. I was picked up in Ohio and driven to Richmond Indiania to pick up my S2000. I then drove back to Dayton Ohio and down to Lexington Ky. I crashed there for two days then drove from there back to Arizona. It was around 2000+ miles in the S2000 that I ended up driving.
I'd do it again in a heart beat to get the exact car that I was looking for.

I went from Irvine, CA to San Jose, CA (~380 mi) for mine. I was driving up for a trip anyway, so I decided to get a rental and if I decided it wasn't right for me, I'd just drive the rental back. Instead I came back in a 2008 LBP S =)
