How far after fuel warn. comes on?

Letting the gas go so low is not really that great for the car , try and fill up sooner at like 4 bars unless your dead broke , if thats the problem then you should trade your car in for a toyota prius

I fully agree!

Just didn't have time yesterday. As I have read before, the gauge fluctuates so much. I had three bars leaving my house today, which then quickly went to two and then NONE! Then the light came on and I got to work.

I carried gas in the trunk once and ran my AP1 dry to determine the reserve. I got 53 miles at 50-60 mph, after the reserve light came on before I was completely empty.

its only a problem if you have shit at the bottom of the tank that could get sucked up.. settlement, water, etc. if its clean, whats the issue
