Get a fried to help you - it's not heavy.

I can take it off by myself by standing in the doorway and lifting it off. My wife, not so much...but im 5'11", 215lbs and as my Soldiers tend to refer to me, " a workhorse" guess that's an in-shape jackass...

Seriously, I would use a friend though, all it takes is once to get off balance and crack/dent/scratch/gaetdamnifukeditup!! it

I do it the same way get inside and just lift off. But i did scratch the inside corner panel one time. i wont take it off any more inless i have help. Easy way to take it off get a hot girl to help than just leave her and drive away. But really i don't have a garge ethier and live on the 3rd floor so i have to leave mine on but im moving soon so hopefully will have a garage for it.

So you're leaving the hot girl AND your hardtop behind?

Double FAIL.

So in short, as long as i'm not completely out of shape, I can lift it off? Internet tells me it weights about 40kg which isn't too much.

You're not listening. It's the awkwardness of the shape and weight distribution, not the weight that makes it difficult.

I know, its all about leverage. I would probably take the advice of other people here and put myself over the centre console and just lift straight up. Getting out after that would be the difficult part.

With a helping hand it takes less than 30 seconds to take off the top.
