My S2000 handles like arse in the rain.

I'm in the same boat with sickest. Anything over 55 and it feels like the rear end wants to go all over the place. The strange thing is that there is still plenty of tread left on my rears as they are only at 12,500 miles and nowhere near bald. Perhaps I need to check my alignment settings.

Not to be a prig, but sounds like a bad idea to me. Why take a chance like that in bad weather? You might save some rubber on the tire, but your car is gonna need body work when you slide into another car/tree/building/structure/yoda.

The key is self-control and respect for the road and other drivers. People get squirrely when it rains, and you need to be on your toes. Which means being extra defensive out there.

There will be plenty of non-rainy days to truly have fun and "let loose".

It has been raining here quite a bit lately, and it took a little getting used to in the rain, but now I am getting pretty good at driving in the rain. You just have to be smooth and you can drive almost as fast as you can in the dry.

yeah im at 17,000 miles with the rear SO2's. im gonna change them soon cuz im really slidin everywhere! kinda scary im still drivin the car with them on.

I think that what he meant was don't act like a fool by flooring it around turns.

Anyway, I agree that people do need to just calm down and not drive as agressively in the rain as they do in dry weather. Last night, just for fun, I VTEC'd on a fairly straight stretch of road that I almost always VTEC on. I hit a patch of water shifting into 2nd at 8500 rpm and the car fishtailed a little bit. That was enough to scare the sh*t out of me so much that I won't be doing that again. I still have plenty of tread left on my S02s but even then, that doesn't give me license to drive like a bat out of h*ll.

yeah, better to be safe than sorry. i mean, why beat the shit out of ur car when u dont have to? i always drive safe unless someone wants to race me or its been awhile since i drove aggressive, but other than that, its better to just take it nice and slow.

speaking of alligments, my MY 01 has inner tire wear up frfont. Is this normal? The rears are wearing out evenly, but the fronts just seem like its balding only on the inside....
