How does it Run?
Well?
If you keep reading this forum, you'd think every S in the world has problems. You never hear from the ones running fine.
So I thought a POLL was in order.
Mine runs fine all the time and it's heavily modified.
I think I got it right.

I bought mine with 58,000 miles on it. It now has 87,000 miles. I have torn both front sway bar mounting brackets loose, replaced one clutch, one left rear axle, one heater blower, and it gets a CEL about every 10,000 miles. The CEL is for random misfires so I clean and inspect plugs and coil packs and put it back together and it will be good for another 10,000 miles.
The rear axles start making noise about every 10,000 miles and I have to grease the splines that go through the hub to make it quiet again.
Today it is getting both rear wheel bearings replaced. They got scary loose without ever making any noise.
Is that excessive or just normal maintenance?

There's a big difference between an intake modded car and a full SC FI modded car.

I bought my car with 40k and now have 87k and just replaced my plugs and did valve adjustment and the car runs alot better then i ever remember. it pulls strong in the low rpms. the only thing I have done to the engine is a snorkel to the stock airbox. i had a axle replaced under warranty. the car has been great for me.

From what I gather an SC car has a different level of reliability than a turbo car. This is an interesting poll but it would be better if modded was broken up into N/A, SC and turbo.
