I know a lot of us do those little vain things to get attention. No harm done. We've got one of the coolest automobiles on the road, and we like to show off every now and then; a guilty pleasure; sometimes subtle, sometimes blatant. I prefer the subtle method myself.

One thing I do is that when I'm in bumper-to-bumper traffic during commute hours, I like to drive next to the carpool lane, that way (for maximum effect) I get a guaranteed 3 people per car checking out my S on my left. I love seeing 3 heads turn and point at the car.

Put the top down in front of large crowds

On a hot day, I wait till I get to a busy intersection before I take the top off so everyone notices. And ofcourse the ocassional victim that tries to race me.

I find that I don't have to do anything at all. The S seems to attract attention by itself. I must admit that I love hearing the comments!

I just pick up my girlfriend from her dorm....although I wouldn't be too comfortable putting my top down in front of the crowd.

I like to heal and toe downshift as stopping when there is a crowd. It makes the S sound like a race car lining up for a high speed turn.
