Default How do you remove the shiftboot frame??

I bought a leather shift boot to replace the cheap stock vinyl boot. But I don't know how to get the stock boot out. I am not sure if I can just pry and yank the console frame out, or I have to remove something first.

Can anyone help me please?

thank!

Just go to Ricks site and take a look at the instructions. It requires the use of a drill and a pair of pliers. Pretty easy, but take your time. Word of caution: Don't get carried away with the drill.
