Default How do you remove the rear passanger side quarter panel?

I need to remove mine because of a door ding. I want to save some labor and take it off myself and then take it to a bodyshop and have them sand, fill, and paint the door ding. Its on the crease so a dent remover can't get it out. I looked in the Helm manual but didn't see anything about removing the quarter panel. So does anyone know how to take it off?

Thanks!

Yup, nice try but I doubt that will save you the money and inconvenience you were looking for.

removing qtr panel, as follows:

1. take your s2000 to your best/favorite/cheap body shop
2. open wallet
3. bend over

dammit i hate dings.

actually my body shop gave me the heads-up on repairs to the s2000 quarter panel, when i was retrieving my personal effects out my miata that had been mangled by an 18 wheeler... it didn't survive.

If the door ding isn't too bad you should be able to take it to one of those "paintless" dent removal places and have it fixed to like new. Those guys are capable of performing some real magic and it cost is much less than the route you're going.
