How do you drive your S2000

Depending on traffic.
If heavy, I usually shift around 3k to 4k.
Open road or low traffic? I redline first gear then shift then quick subsequent shifts to 5th or 6th to cruise.
We have 60km/h speed limit here so first gear VTEC is all you need (even then it's already over, I think 63-64km/h top 1st gear).

Shifting around 3.5k rpm all day with a few hits of VTEC is what helps me average 22.3 mpg in (mostly) city driving.
This past week, I got 23.4 mpg with the same concept. The only time I take the car anywhere near its limits is on a back road without many other vehicles around.

I drive it hard all the time. No mercy. In traffic I shift at 5k, If I'm going for it, I'll redline it. I've redlined it at least once every day since I bought it. I'm prepared to spend the money that this behaviour will cost me, this year I've already replaced one set of tires, one clutch, the TCT, front brakes (disks and pads), and I'm about to replace the valve stem seals cos it's smoking like a Turk. Also, I'll need MORE rear tires in a few weeks. At this rate, I figure I'm going through a set of rear tires every 18 months. I also burn a liter of oil every 1000km.
If I wanted to drive slowly or gently, I would not have bought a car with 240hp and rear wheel drive.
I'm seriously considering getting an Evo 8 soon.

I persoanlly, am trying to get the best gas mileage out of my car, as well as conserving my clutch so I shift around 5000rpms but try to stay at a low rpm to conserve gas, and throw it into neutral at stoplight to save my clutch.

Honestly this isn't the car for you if you are trying to conserve gas buy a fit, not saying beat the crap out of it all around town but I'm satisified getting 22-24 mpg with shifting between 4-5k rpm and hitting vtec maybe a couple times a day. The clutch should last a long time if you are a good driver, I drove my last car the same way and it had 126k on the original clutch when I got rid of it with plenty of life left in it.

You guys make me feel like I short shift, I shift around 3k-3.5k around town.
I shift at 4K most of the time and 5-6K when needing to accelerate a bit faster...I only use VTEC when trying to get out of the way of a truck when merging or when hitting the backroads! When I can keep it out of VTEC I get 28mpg around town and commuting, 33 on the highway!

I just drive it reflective of the mood I'm in. Sometimes I like to have some fun and go pretty fast around turns, sometimes I just feel like chilling and drive like I do other cars slow. The thing is I have too much fun driving it and I'm usually find myself having a lot of fun.
