How do you clean your wheels??
#2
I use a tire iron and a floor jack.
Once the tire is removed, it is very easy to srub the wheel with soap and water. I have two brushes from an auto parts store that fit in the small spaces.
Be careful not to scratch the wheels on the ground when you clean the insides.

For the wheels, I use the Zaino Z7 car wash and a lambs wool mitt to clean the spokes. Dry with a clean towel.
For the tires, I use the Meguiar's Gold Class Endurance, $7.99 from Target. I had been using Armor-All Detailer's tire foam, but the Meguiars looks better and lasts much longer

I use water only on the wheels as I never let them get that dirty. I dry with a clean towel and use the Zaino tire treatment. It even lasts longer than the tire dressing I get from my detail distributor. Also, I use Meguiar's wheel polish for clear coated wheels which helps to remove brake dust, etc, much more easily. I oughta get a wheel brush, But for now I use a rag with car wash soap on it (when Im done with the car) then after every 3 or 4 washes I take the wheels off to really get em, and then maybe Ill run a damp rag around the sus. components.

A good trick for getting the inside of the wheels is to use a dishwashing foam brush. The kind you get at the supermarket for $1.50. Reaches in real well, and is better able to get past the disks than the wheel brushes I have had.
