How do you clean Titanium?

Default How do you clean Titanium?

I just purchased a Top Fuel Ti exhaust. I don't want to scratch it. Can someone give me some insite?

4" disc grinder for about 30 minutes, that'll do it.............

Try the metal polish stuff at your local auto store. That should do the trick, cleans and shines.

good point chazmo...
imo, the tips should be polished to keep them clean, but i dont know whether the spugen stuff will remove the blue (thats the part that shows your pipes have been smokin!- and thats what many folks want to have on their pipes).

Fair enough... I'd just clean it with car soap, Tapout, when you wash the car. I'm not sure any wax or car polish would be important (or useful), though a coat of Zaino wouldn't hurt it (I guess). As for a metal polish, that will have some abrasive qualities, I suspect.

My advice is just clean it normally. I wouldn't polish it. Ti won't rust or anything; it'll just take on that natural, beautiful blue tint...

But, I've never tried polishing, Tapout... I have a Ti shift knob which needs no maintenance
