How do I pay off my car to sell it?
#11
I heard, if you're the buyer, you should make the checks out to the seller's name though, not the bank because the bank is not a person. The seller could rip the buyer off the by saying that the check was make out to bank of america, not me. I didn't sell the car to anyone, etc. Basically, if you make it out to seller, you have the carbon copy with his name on it you have proof if there are any problems. Somehow a check made out from you to Bank of America is not as secure and leaves a lot open to interpretation.

Whats up Brother! I thought that was your car on Ebay. Whoever is buying your car should right the check to you. You then pay the car off through Honda. They send you the title they have and then you sign off on the one you have already as well as the one Honda will send you. Give it to the new owner and your free and clear!
Glad you got a seller for it finally. I saw it on Ebay and said I know those headlights
