How do I make vtec hit harder?
How do I make the vtec engagement more similar to a dc2 Integra Type R's?
I want to instinctively scream, "WARP SPEEEEEED!" whenever vtec engages like I do when I drive Type R's.
What are the best things to do to make Vtec kick in more violently?
oh ya.. my 05 is pretty much stock.

AP2 doesnt have a noticeable vtec cross-over. but AP1 does.
the increase of toque and a shorter redline smooth out the whole powerband of AP2. So whtever you do and tune the car, the feel of vtec kick in still cant compare to the AP1s.

I don't know how things would differ with an F22C, but with my AP1/F20C, the centrifugual blower definitely enhances the VTEC "kick."
The smoother transition of the F22C is yet another thing that makes them less likely to become involved in spin related accidents, so maybe you should be thankful for it. Cars with the F20C can be nasty when VTEC engages unexpectedly while accelerating hard off a corner, and it's bitten more than one of us.
Does anyone know if the VTEC transition with the F22C remains smooth after FI is added?

Get NOS and hit the button when you cross 6k rpms!
You can hook it up to a big red button labeled TURBO BOOST!
SHY GUY is correct. Smooth is faster. "Kick" is a good way to upset the traction and has led many an AP1 driver into the curb.
FWIW, centrifugal SC on an AP1 kicks HARD. Unless you're coming from a Turbo AP1... in which case you'll swear there was no kick at all....
