How do I check the CEL code?
Just like the topic says. Is it like civics and integras where I use a jumper and count how many times the CEL blinks? If so where is the jumper? I found the ECU then unwrapped a bunch of wires and found a plug that looked the same as what was in my civic, unplugged it, tried jumping it...nothing, then I plugged it back together and the CEL went off.
Now I don't know what threw the code.
I was just cruising on the freeway when it came on.
Thanks

check your gas cap....make sure its tight,...mine did the same thing the other day on the way to school....gas cap was just loose. Disconnect the battery for 10 min or so, and while waiting, tighten the gas cap all the way.......hasent come on again in a week!
