how did u guys get the 17mm caliper bolts off

tried to do rotor install today but couldn't get the big 17mm bolts holding together the pad assembly to budge at all. now i think i'll have to take it to a shop. please let me know if you have any advice. thnx

get a breaker.

it's about 2 feet long and you can budge almost all nuts and bolts
