another good question would be "how deep are the ruts on snowclad roads you drive through?" I wouldn't make a habit out of it, but I had to go through ruts at least eight inches deep to merge onto I-94 this morning;
I'm pretty sure I broke that record today on Sherwood St in Ann Arbor, where it looked like there were 9 pristine inches of snow on the ground. I had followed tracks halfway down the street, but they disappeared just as the road went uphill; so there I was, blazing a trail through snow that went 4.5" to the bottom of my car, and then 4.5" above it. And it went uphill. And people were watching. And I had the top down. And then I did get stuck, just below the top. And then I let the "S" roll backward, went forward again, and crested the hill.

I couldn't believe it. Is there anything the blue convertible cannot do? I should have taken picture, but honestly, I simply assumed I was going to get suck (but didn't care); and it's getting easier and easier nowadays to find pictures of me on the internet, anyway (yes, I've heard about Jalopnik).

55ºF is my minimum to drop the top. There's a lot of top down days in South Carolina.

I run the ac at full blast in the top down setting all the time, but the heater will melt your shoes in the top down setting at full blast.

I can deal with heat better than the cold, good thing I live in AZ. Anything under 60 is uncomfortable, rather have the hard top on.

We should reverse this question, although maybe that's already been done and out there; but today's heat was a serious challenge to The Streak. Up to 102° F in Ypsilanti, and oppressive humidity. Or: someone actually yelled obscenities at me for driving with the top down, as if it were winter.

I'd ask them if they felt the same way about motorcyclists too. Seriously what business is it of theirs.
