How to clear the red engine block cover?
What's the best way to clean the red engine block in our S2000's??? Mine has back dust on the corners, and I've rubbed it with a towel and soap, and can't get it off. I don't want to ruin it, but what can I use to make it look new? I'm talking about the red crinkled finish.

I used a all-purpose cleaner/degreaser with a wheel brush and just scrubbed it until it was clean. Intermittently using water in a spray bottle to get the dirt off. After I was satisfied with how it looked I used a product that sprays on to give it a 'wet' look. I can't remember the name and I am too lazy to go down to the garage to take a peek. It's a spray can type thats silver.

Ok, I actually found this stuff called CD2 in my garage. I just used the CLEANER/PREP can of it, and man it lookes brand new. I just shot it, and within seconds the dirt started running off, and I just wiped it down with a clean cloth. It said to rinse with water after 10 min, but I didn't do that, I just wiped it clean.
I may put some of that tire gel on it next that I've seen others do on here. Very cool!
