I hate it when my brake lights come on all the time when I'm slowing down? What fuse do I pull?
HAHA!!

I used to have an R32 so I know about how easy it is to do to VW's. I like the DRL's on my S2K. I think they look good, and it's just another safety feature, so it's fine with me. If it were as easy to do as the VW, I may have done it by now, but it's not worth it to me to start hacking wires, pulling fuses, etc. just to disable 2 lights.

You also have to pull the bulb in the dash if you pull fuse 14 and dont want to look at the DRL warning light whenever your headlights are off. I did this way back and posted the results.

I pulled the wrong one the first time. I believe was looking at the box upside down. I am pretty sure 14 is the correct fuse to pull. It has been a while since I did it though. Check you manual. I am pretty sure it tells what fuse it is.

I know I must have been looking at it upside down and pulled the wrong one.

Hello, David-D.
An R32 ex-owner, eh?
I also used to own a DBP R32 which got totaled last December.
I miss my R, but my new S is taking good care of me these days

A light does come on in the cluster after you do pull the fuse. Its is a little bit of work removing that bulb if you dont wan to look at that light every time you drive the car.

I WANT DRL.

What are the ill effects of leaving on my headlights all the time? Just replacing bulbs earlier? If so, how much are our headlight bulbs?

They're expensive...expect to spend a couple hundred apiece.

I usually turn mine on while interstate driving...
