6'0" and a trim 200 lbs - love the way this car fits me - even have a couple of clicks left on the seat. Generally drive with athletic type shoes, though (those newer style euro look shoes are great for driving)

Funny, I am starting a new thread about something related to the subject. I am considering a sparco D-shaped steering to give me some additional leg room

I fit pretty good size wise but my legs are pretty long. The only thing that bothered me was my knees hitting the dash. It was to the point that it hindered my shifting and that isn't something I want in a car I will be ripping around in.

You guys have convinced me to go back and try it with my docs on this time Thanks.

I'm 6'7" and if you search for my name i have been pondering getting an AP1 for quite some time.

with a flat bottom steering wheel (Sparco D)
Bride Low Max seating
Remove the factory door pull and replace with leather strap

Even stock i can drive the car... it hurts my neck to look down under the top of the windshield when first in line at a traffic light but when there's a will there's a way. I fit worse in my buddy's 1966 427 Vette... FWIW

Also to comment on the Miata comment. I recently bought a 1991 chassis with a blown engine to convert to a "monster Miata"... again a lower racing seat will be required with a modified steering wheel but i can fit well enough to drive it... and with the miata i feel a little roomier than in the AP1.

Right now i'm debating on getting either an AP1 or a Z32 300zx TT.... My daily driver is now a Silverado SS so it all boils down to whether i'm looking for a GT car or a weekend corner basher... that question i have yet to answer

if any big guys have any questions, feel free to email me at prez1967 at hotmail dot com and i'll help get you fit in there

BTW: I'm 6'7" 245lbs, size 16 shoe and 36 waist
