This topic is covered almost every week. Here's one of many:

The only thing a Miata has over the S2000 for added comfort is an adjustable steering column. My fit in the Miata wasn't any better than the S2000 but that may vary depending on your body style. The Miata is a good car and if it fits you better then I'm sure you will like it. Test drive both cars, several times. Back to back if you can. I did that, drove the S and then went straight to the Mazda dealer and drove the Miata. If you will be driving a lot with those work boots on then make sure you are wearing them for each drive.
Neither car is roomy and they aren't meant to be but once in the seat, I'm comfortable enough.

Thanks guys. I think the work boots must be the problem. I fit in the seats and everything just great but my knees were banging under the dash. I love that the car fits like a glove....everything is right where it should be. I'm not a big guy by any means but comfort is a big issue because this will see several road trips and it will be my daily driver in the summer.
My buddy has a 99 Miata and I drive it all the time. Fitment has never been an issue. The Miata just doesn't have the looks and the power of the S2000. It also doesn't have that great Honda name. I think I will take a trip back if I get some time tomorrow. I've worked 81 hrs this week and I'm living in a hotel room in southern Georgia.

weird, 6'4" (170ish?) and I fit just fine.
I have posted in hundreds of these threads and have since stopped but the thing that I found weird in yours is the miata comment. Have you test driven a Miata??? I test drove an NC and I did not fit at all. If you have trouble fitting in the S there is no way in hell you can fit in a Miata...that's crazy talk...

One of my co-workers had one and my knees were crushed on his dash. The s2k is a tight fit, but it's comfortable enough.

6,2 210lbs trying to get down to 200lbs I think you just get use to the
fit when you are taller. You can't expect it to feel like an SUV. When the roof is up my helmet will rub every know and then on one of the cross
beams.
