How to adjust J's CF Hood fitment?
Hi guys...fitted it on today...
The latch does not slide perfectly into stock hook...
When forced to fit the hood sits about 3mm to the right...
It's quite bad the way it is now!
So yeah those of you who have succceeded in adjusting the J's CF Hood to fit better...please enlighten me and future owners...
Cheers!

Loosen the mounting bolts at the end of the hood near the windshield, either just the ones going into the hood, but if needed for extra movement, the ones going into the body of the car from the hinge mechanism. Loosen the stock hook and move that about 3mm to the left. Tighten the stock hook bolts and check fit. Tighten the mounting bolts. Repeat if necessary.

Basically what Prolene said. First you should try moving the hook on the car. If that doesn't work you need to take off the wipers and the plastic shield to get to the bolts that attach the hinge to the car. Adjust and readjust, it takes a long time. In the end if you want an absolute perfect fit you might have to drill new holes for the latch on the hood.
