How about this hardtop deal I got!
I am going up to Ohio to have hardtopguy(Jeff) install a new hardtop on my car. Now everyone knows that he sells the spa yellows for $1800 (glad it is my color). Honda Goodwill is actually putting money towards my purchase. The end result is I have a brand new oem hardtop for $1450 installed. Has anyone ever payed less??? For those who want to know why Honda Goodwill is paying for some of it here is the reason. I currently have a plastic window top. I have the famous creases in the window that are annoying not to mention all the scratches from the top. I have repeatedly polished the window with no luck getting them all out. So I call Honda to report my issue. They said that as a goodwill they will pay for one complete window change. I accepted that offer. Now I forgot that hardtopguy sold the spa yellow hardtops for $1800. So I called back to the Honda rep I was talking to and told him that I can get the hardtop from this Honda dealership for this price and if they would be willing to put any money towards this purchase. No questions asked they gave me a good a mount of money for it. I have never had to deal with Honda goodwill until now and all I have to say is I am very impressed. Anyone else that ever needs to make a claim my advice is do not start off with an attitude toward the person you are dealing with and you might be surprised at what you get. Remember the person you talk to is not responsible for any defect or problem you might have. They are just there to try and help you the best they can.

Getting one with the car is cheating Unless you are a great negotiator you probably paid for it in the final price somewhere. I can't wait until I get it on my car. Would any of you by any chance have any pics you can send me of your hardtop on your spa yellows? send them to dmcfan@hotmail.com
Thanks

Damn I am out now . I can't beat free. I still like the fact that Honda actually gave me $500 when they really had no obligation to do so. He did say that the reason they were able to help me was because I had Honda Care. So all those who do not think it pays off to have it might think again because you never know when it might pay off. Especially since I am the second owner of the car and it only cost me $50 to transfer

Actually we gave one away (FOR FREE) at this year's Fall Colors tour. Now it does not get any cheaper then that.
Who won it?!
