Default horn location?

Just to clarify, is the horn located to the side of the airbox?

It's on the side of the airbox and underneath. Should be attached by 1 10mm bolt to either the frame or cross beam....can't remember exactly.

00-01 it is next to the condenser in front of the radiator.

02+ There are two, one next to the condenser in front of the radiator and the other is next to the airbox by the passenger side shock tower.

You can see the second one on the very far left lower corner of this pic. It is round black thing right next to the keeper for the hood prop.

Just FYI: there is a ton of empty space between the radiator and front bumper cover to put air horns I mounted my 12V compressor near the air box and mounted two 125 decibel air horns just in front of the radiator, aiming straight at the road in front of the car....they are roughly 10X louder from the front of the car than stock horns and have kept me from getting cut off very well!

Just a tip, if your using air horns with a 12V compressor you should run a 30Amp relay and power the horns directly off the battery with 12 or 14ga wire and only tap into the factory horn harness for signal to the relay. The stock horn wiring is 22 ga and will NOT carry enough amperage to run a normal air horn compressor at full rpm! Trust me. without the relay and heavy gauge wire you might only get 1/2 the decibel level the horns should produce.

I have a question, can I use the air horn and OEM horn in tandem?

Yes. that's how my set up is...the wiring for the factory horns is only loosing about 0.1 amps when you tap into it for on/off signal only to the relay for the Air Horn compressor. The compressor is taking all its' juice straight from the battery so both the air horns and the factory horns will go off at full volume simultaneously!
