ok, im not sure if its only the MY06, but my horn just doesnt fit my car.

its made for a chevy or something.

its a honk honk and not a beep beep.

maybe its me, but i hate it.
Haha... it's so funny that you mention that, because the first time I locked my car up, that was my thought exactly.

I like the newer horn, more authorative upper scale tone, like what you'd hear coming up behind you on the autobahn.

I don't believe the horn on the '06 is any different than the '05, which is what I have. With three Honda's in the driveway, the S2000 has the by far has the best horn. Definately boasts more authority.

I've contemplated putting new horns in the Civics so they'd have a little more grunt. Lord knows we'd use them, people in Columbia, SC can't drive for $#!+ (this coming from someone who's driven in plenty of city environments).

I was thinking of the General Lee type horn - would be a good contrast, and people would notice....

Or maybe a La Cucaracha horn...

Actually, the big ol' deisel 18 wheeler horn would be sweet.

I hate the horn on my '06. Was told there are two horns. What I'm going to do is order two horns from a '05 Civic Si and swap them in. I hate the American style horn on this car and much prefer the traditional Japanese style. To me, this horn just doesn't go with this car.
SHoot me a PM, I'll sell you the horns I removed from my AP1. they are plenty wimpy, you'll love 'em.
