Default Hondata Kpro

I saw a post on the marketplace for one of these one sale. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=630705
And i was wondering if anyone could tell me what this ecu and all those parts that are required to go with it actually does. I was reading up on it from the official hondata site and saw that it has nitrous control, boost control, etc. but what kind of performance can i get from using this and the parts that they suggest.

It is a programable ECU that reaplces the stock ECU. The stcok ECU has a fixed program for the car stock. If you change the car, I.E. Add a superchager, or any other engine modification, you need to change the tune. KPro will let you and the OEM ECU will not.

Is there much difference between this and the AEM EMS? or does it not really matter as long as its the same map?

i really dont know about that one. i know that hondata release this k-pro as a similar version to k-pro for the rsx. k-pro for the rsx seems to be the best buy for tuning and such for the rsx. personally i would rather go aem ems or something similar just because the cost to get k-pro to work on the s2000 isnt worth it to me. but i still love hondata.

They are both fill the same hole. EMS and KPro are both standalone programable ECU. They just both program using differant software.

Now there is a number of technical thing one does and the other does not, but basicaly they are the same.

KPro could as it does have ODBII functionality because is was an RSX ECU to begin with. EMS will not and can only be used for "Off Road Use" in CA.
