Honda's VGS variable ratio steering system
#2
VGS alters the steering ratio as speed changes. A 10 degree turn of the steering wheel at 20 mph results in a larger angle at the tire than the same input at 80 mph. Larger responses at slower speeds means less steering input/hand work, smaller responses at higher speeds means greater stability. To my knowledge it is a JDM exclusive and not available in the US.

Japan offers the VGS model (Variable Gear ratio Steering) - the steering ratio is changed according to the car
