Default Honda site updated with 08 S2000

Don't know if this is a repost but the Honda Vehicle site has 2008 S2000 options and pricing. It shows the S2000CR and a new color Chicane Silver Metalic. Also shows new wheels which appear to be from the CR.

I priced one out with the OEM lip, trunk spoiler and hard top which came to $39476 MSRP. Yikes!!!

Without the hard top it came to $35977.00

In comparison, I paid 29k for mine when I bought it in 2005.

Yea, they are crazily priced. IMO a new S2000 just is not worth it for the price . I think Honda has them way overpriced. But I still love them!

Me too. I just ordered a couple online and should have them in 5-7 days.

I will definitely continue to own an S for many years to come.

Yea, the NSX was overpriced too. How can you charge someone almost $100,000 for a car that can be out peformed by a car that cost $30k?

Because at the time is was designed and developed it was making Ferraris look like Yugos at half the price. Thats how.

Ok, 39K for a S2000 is a cake walk compared to what we get raped for in Canada!!!

Same car would be 52,000 PLUS PLUS~!!!!!

And our dollar is at par, so that is 52K US! That is insane! We get screwed in this country for prices on cars, amongst other things....!

I heard it's even more ridiculous in some European countries, on the order of $100,000+
