i test drove both cars. having driven a modifed rx7 twin turbo for years, im pretty comfortable driving japanese performance cars. the 350z was a nice car. it was fast, handled great and broke great. the interior was UGLY in my opinion (track package w/ orange seats). the whole car had a boy racer feel to it. it wasnt as nimble as my rx7 was. the s2000 in my opinion was a whole lot better. its the closest car i've driven that is comparable to my rx7. (which is a damn good thing) it has a more mature feeling to it. so much so i bought one two weeks ago. =)

do we really need to care who is faster? if so, how about BENZ, BMW, etc .. enjoy our S2000, more fun, NA, nothing to worry ..
PS - important things: u could hook up PRETTY girl with ur S2000 but PRETTY girl dont know 350Z

s revs up to more than 9k rpm. =)
yeh depends on how u drive, u could beat that fatty nissan
rear is ok but front sux. nissan tried to make it more like sporty but in my opinion they didnt do "good Job" on it. S's front is way better than that. second to none~

I love the fact that the S2000 is a hand assembled low production machine that THE TOP GOES DOWN ON!!! Z doesn't even have a sunroof. I also think in not so very long you will be able to get a Z at Hertz! However, I think the Z is a great car for an everyday driver, as I am afraid to leave my S2000 in a parking lot, etc. for 5 minutes! I guess it would depend on how you intend to use it. I like the G35 Coupe much better than the Z, and would be my personal choice 2nd after the S2000. At least it has a sunroof and the best warranty in the business.

The S2000 is a "funner" car, but the Z is more of an everyday driver. I think that if you have a second car for everyday then go with the S, but if you will only have one car, go with a Z.
