I'd like to see this done again but with all 3 models, AP1, AP2, AP2-CR.

Don't see the point of arguing or calling either one of the cars better or worse, you pick what you want. If were just talking about which is the faster/better of the AP1 or AP2v1 or AP2v2 in stock form, it's probaby going to be the CR, just from a combination of many things, but again you pick what you like.

Oh what fun is that???? You want us all to be *gasp* adults and stuff?

AP2 RYP FTMFW! Booyah!

Of course, you know, we could also add that Yellow is probably the slowest color because it takes so many coats of it to get good coverage. Think of all that extra weight!!

JUST WATCH THE VIDEO can't believe that attitude AP1 owners haver, just because they couldn't afford a newer and faster AP2.

I could've bought an ap2, but then I realized I had balls between my legs.

i never thought i would own a s2000 then one day i checked one out and decided to buy it. i have a 01 red with hard top and oem lip 67k miles for $12.9. it sucks that only 06+ can use flash pro. my question was is it possible to get 220whp with simple bolt ons without a tune. i kno it is with flash pro but for ap1 with stock ecu is it possible. all i want is bout 20more whp and leave it NA and keep the car like that. thanks. REASON for no wanting aem ems is emission pretty much just looking for little bit more power and keep the car.

Also note the AP1 is on 16" wheels. Pretty sure if you put a set of OEM 17" on it would help the stablity.
It doesn't. They flipped the new weeks on the AP1 with no improvement.
I watched most of the best motoring stuff. Can't find the video right now. I remember they did a test and swapped the wheels. Ap1 on ap2 wheels and ap2 on ap1 wheels. There was definitely improvement. Some of the improvement from the tire but I think I remember them commenting on the wheel size.???

AP1 vs AP2 is dumb. It should be S2000 vs. World.

The AP1's on a track are slower than the AP2's in this because you can tell the AP1 had some oversteering issues compared to the AP2 or CR.Now if we're talking AP1 vs AP2 down a straight line? Different story IMO.
