There are many MANY other vehicles I'd spend 200k on before an S2000. I doubt that it will appreciate in value any more than that. Poor investment decision IMO.

The person that bought this, probably owns some of those MANY cars that you speak of. I wonder if the previous owners of this, (like Mr noodels Ducati), have regrets selling their poor investment?

Yeah - true. Anyone who'd spend 200k on an S2000 has money to burn. It's a museum piece and won't see much sunshine for the rest of it's existence.

I think that is silly money and a testament to how all these newly printed Zillions of dollars are misdirected to certain asset classes and the main cause for the inflation. Love the S2K CR, but come on, this car was selling way below full retail price a few years ago. Maybe the anticipated recession (we all hate it) will bring about more realism to used car markets. I agree that this car will never see the sun again, would you risk going sideways in this car?
