It started because many believe the S2K offers equivalent performance to the Boxster for a lot less $$. Numbers wise it does. Driving wise it doesn't. Hard to put into words the drive a Boxster provides. I totally agree, for the extra $$$ a Boxster costs, it SHOULD give a better experience.
