honda radio code trouble?
So if you own a honda and your car dies and you jump start it, or something of this nature you need the radio code to listen to music.
so your radio code is suppose to be in your manual as a white card. it will have your unlock code on it.
but i had just bought my s2k and it was used and had no manual, so i was going to do what most people do, rip out the radio to get the serial number.
i did some searching online and i found out that you can hold 1 and 6 on the radio befor you turn it on and your serial number will pop up. it will blink one set of numbers and blink another. write them down.
then you can call a honda dealer ship and say that you bought the car and it doesnt have the radio code card.
but for me i had to call 2 dealer ships because one said that i had to come in to get the code. the other dealer ship i called just needed the car's vin number.

hope this helps someone.

If you crawl down under the driver's side and look back at the backside of the radio, you can see the serial number sticker. The dealer can give you the code if you have the radio serial number. I was able to find it without removing the radio. (MY07)
