I have a 2007 S2000 with almost 9000 miles and the Bumper to Bumper portion of my warranty is ending at the end of this month so I called Honda and was offered the extended warranty for 4 yrs/48,000 miles for $1895.

I asked if I can transfer it to the next owner when I sell the car in the future and was told the Honda Extended Warranty cannot be transferred.

She said the only time the Honda extended warranty is transferable is when you purchase it new with the car.


Can anyone confirm this is correct ?

What Warranty company can you recommend that can be trusted and also transferable ?

You may not be able to transfer it, but I know for a fact, you can get a Pro-rated refund when you sell the car, as long as it still falls under the warranty period of course.
