Honda Certified Warranty = HondaCare?

I have been reading a few posts about the crap people with HondaCare warranties have gone thru trying to get their cars fixed.

I bought my car from a dealership and it has a Honda Certified Warranty (12mon/12k mile bumper to bumper, 7yr/100k mile power train), is that the same or different than HondaCare?

If it is a HondaCare warranty Im not even so sure I want it.

Different. Honda's website will explain each program for you.

Keep in mind, the owner and their relationship with the dealer who represents them for a HondaCare warranty claim is the key.

If a dealer does not feel like they want to honor a claim they will present "the facts" in their bias to HondaCare. If a dealer is insistent a claim goes through with HondaCare they almost always can make it happen. Accusing HondaCare as the problem is a little off target.

I have an extraordinary relationship with my dealer and I have yet to experience any issues on my HondaCare Program, although I will admit I have not had any huge claims but still I'm have no reason to be concerned, I know my dealer will stand behind me.
