Homelink Transmitter install
I was tired of keeping my huge garage door opener in my car with no good place to put it. I'll switch it out for a black Homelink when I can find one for a decent price.
I originally bought used sun visors and was going to install the Homelink Transmitter into the visors. To do that I'd need someone that knows how to sew to put a leather or vinyl cover back on them. As soon as my mom makes it down to Columbus, i'll try the sun visor install also.

I'll think about doing a wirte up when i do my next one. This was quite a bit of work because the Homelink transmitter and faceplate with the buttons were made to be mounted in the very thin material of a sun visor. That plastic piece of the Honda where I mounted it is very thick so the case, all the buttons and the led had to be adapted to work.

where did you get the unit at? is it more then just the piece there, or do you need antennaes, or remote boards or anything else?
also, how much was it?
I tried to get modifry's mod working, but couldn't so I soldered a button from radio shack to some wire, then to the opener, hid the opener under the dash, and ran it out. it's hidden, but convenient
