Just found this picture of The Dragon...thought you might enjoy it.

Notice not only the ridiculous curves in that road, but also the elevation changes...it's totally freaking awesome.

Yea, I wish more of you Cali guys/dolls could join us for this. Remember the Dragon is 11 1/2 miles and 318 switchbacks, elevation changes and high stakes twisties.

Gotta love it...

Greg, I remember sometime back you posted a link to a video of the entire 11-mile journey filmed from a motorcycle. Do you know if that link is still active? I did a search, found the link in your post, but got no response. Others may want to try at:

Awesome!! Can't wait to drive it.

How is the pavement on the Dragon?? It's been recently paved and pretty smooth isn't it?

The pavement on the Dragon is immaculate. There is not a single crack or anything. Also, there are no connecting roads so there is no danger of cross-traffic. It's in absolutley prestine condition...

LVS2K, I will have to look for that video...it was pretty impressive, wasn't it? It was either at http://www.dealsgap.com (where S2KDays is listed in their events section!) or on http://www.tailofthedragon.com. I don't remember which...

Also, this picture is just one little section of the road. And once we do the Dragon several times, there is the road to Fontana Dam, which is spectacular, as well.

Man, I'm getting anxious...
