HKS -- SLANDER! Why?!
#21
I dynoed 212 on a drum dyno, with an HKS exhaust and PRM intake, both items that claim a loss in HP. The HKS is also LIGHTER than stock.
I dont have proof of my dyno though, so take it for what its worth.

My friend has the HKS on his S and it does sound awesome!!! I was going with that exhaust until I heard another S with the Apexi World Sport 2...It has a deep tone and isn't loud at all...You can't go wrong with the HKS!!!

I too am considering the HKS. So just to sum things up, am I hearing that the HKS Hi Power sounds good and is not too loud? I'd like a decent sound but nothing loud and ricey. If this is the case, this might be my exhaust.

I think the HKS has ~1-2hp gains by itself, which can easily turn into a loss on a dyno, if conditions aren't identical to the baseline.
I almost bought one, but I couldn't stand the idea of something other than stainless steel for the pipes. I've seen used HKS exhausts for sale, and they don't seem to hold up very well over a period of time.

I think it is similarly priced to the HKS. I wonder which is lighter?
