You stated that as a fact.. care to give an explanation?

Nick gave me a rational explantion for some change in tone and I can see the logic in it. My experience is that any change is very subtle.

I didn't know you had an HKS. What is your basis for this comment?

I just ordered the HKS Hiper Exhaust last night...what's your experience with it? Like it?

I have modded many cars and I think that you tend to get use to the noise instead of it mellowing out.

hahahahaha, perhaps my younger days of straight pipes ruined my ear drums?

no, it's not as raspy as it used to be when i first got it.

chris D: i have the HKS and i'm still waiting for my Neuspeed to be made by Borla.

Seriously...
I think you do get used to the sound a bit, but I know the GReddy PE I had on my GSR did mellow out a bit and sounded a lot lower and meaner after about 500 miles than when I first put it on. I remember reading somewhere that at least THAT exhaust needed a good 4-500 mi. break in. But what do I know?
