Comptech has the deepest.
I am good friends with both Josh3io and SilverSurfer. Between the 3 of us, we have the HKS, Neuspeed, and Comptech.
They all like the HKS best right guys?
Personally my I like (in most to least order) HKS, Neuspeed, then Comptech.
The comptech is a nice peice, but is too boomy at low rpms. I like the raspy tone of the HKS and Neuspeed.

I have to agree that the Comptech does get boomy but, from my experience, only between 3K-4K rpm with the top up. Having the top up seems to amplify the exhaust sound a bit. With the top down it sounds beautiful. The Comptech exhaust of very authoritative (deep and fairly mellow, not raspy or high-pitched).
Consider Borla too. They make Neuspeed's exhaust. I haven't heard a Borla on a S2000 but I would assume it sounds similar to the Neuspeed. I also think you can get the Borla for a bit less than the Neuspeed.

I love my comptech exhaust. I knew what I wanted it to sound like, and the exhaust fit it perfectly. I just drove from the bay area down to san diego w/ my new comptech exhaust and i love it! The sound is nice and deep when at low rpms and driving around town. It doesnt have that raspy bumblebee sound that I hate so much in small exhausts that I hear most of the ricers running around with. Its a nice deep sound that gets softer as the car gets higher in RPMs. I was driving around in downtown San Diego and the Yellow Stook was turning heads left and right. Plus the added amusement of setting off multiple car alarms when pulling thru a parking garage and giving the throttle a little blip every now and then. When cruising down the freeway at 65+, u barely hear the exhaust unless the engine is under moderate or high load. The fit is top notch. The TIG welds are perfect. The alignment was dead on perfect. After visiting their shop at their open house and seeing what kind of care and expertise they excerise in all their manufacturing, i am just that much more excited about receiving my Supercharger that I'm currently on the list waiting for.
My car will be comptech all the way. I'd have the pics to show the install, but Photopoint has been down for the last few days. Anyone know why?

This thread is leaving me a bit puzzled. At S2kdays I had the opportunity to listen to the Neuspeed, HKS, Comptech, and Amuse. I also got to follow each from behind, here are my impressons...
Amuse: Beautiful, loudest by far, lightest, medium deep sound.
HKS: Not so pretty, deepest tone (but sounds great at all rpm), 7lbs lighter than stock.
Neuspeed: Wierd looking, sounds OK, not so special in my opinion.
Comptech: The clear choice. It has a mechanical resonance the others just don't have. It has a beautiful finish and is also a little lighter than stock. I didn't get "boomy" from it at all, that was all HKS.
Of course, these are just my opinions, and they speak nothing for the sound in the car .

I got my Comptech Exhaust on June 27th. I love the sound it makes. I makes the car sound much deeper at low RPM's. I am very happy with my purchase and I would rcommend it to others to buy. Now, I am waiting for Comptech to comeout with therer intake. Does anyone know when it is suppose to be released?
