I like my HKS Hi-Power as well, and it gets compliment all the time. However, a single typically yields more gains than a dual......less bends and no "split" to negotiate. Singles tend to be alot louder though.

I like the looks of a dual and am quite happy with the HKS.

Tell your insurance carrier and repair shop that you want the old exhaust. You should be able to sell it here on the boards for a couple bonus $$.

Good luck with the repairs,
Hockey

Thanks guys for all the great replies, I'm kinna disappointed that my insurance company denied the replacement of my Tanabe exhaust system. They said that seeing that I also got some tiny little scratches on the other side of the other canister that these scratches that happened during the accident might just be wears and tears. As with all S owners we know if we'd scratched our exhaust or parts by accident or if something else had caused it, we all pay good attention to those scratches on our car(s) or what not but it's sad to say that my insurance isn't going to replace it. They'd just polished it as best they could at the shop, it's clearly scratched but they already made up their mind on what and what not to replace and there's nothing I can do about it. Looks like a MG TS style carbon fiber hood for me instead, thanks again guys...

Can't help with your dilema, but would like to hear your opinion on the Tanabe. Build quality, fitment, noise etc.

TIA.

Mine Tanabe sounds really nice, it kinna sound like it's between a muscle car and import ricer. Not ricey at all compared to my bro's Apexi on his Lude, I like it but I just don't like the tip and canister. I would rather have a canister with a longer tip like on a Apexi or HKS, the sound isn't too loud either compared to others. FItment is great but it does stick out the rear a bit too much, if you have a kit like the Veilside on then you'll see that the canister sticks out way too much.
