high rpm
i'm not sure if i'm just paranoid, but it seems when i'm driving (my04) my rpm's a little higher than normal. when i'm going about 60 (in 6th gear), my rpm's at about 4200 and it just kinda sounds loud. just didnt seem to be this loud before at this speed, especially when i'm just cruising, any suggestions?

Wow, 4200 RPM at 60mph (6th gear). Sounds a little bit off to me. I think when I'm at 4200 in 6th gear, I would be going in the 75mph range.
The stock rear, I believe, is a 4.10. Sounds like you have 4.56 or taller, which means your engine has to work at a higher RPM to attain the same speed as a lower gear. The driveshaft spins 4.1 (or 4.56) times to your axles (and tires) 1 time. Thats what he means by "rear gears".
Lower gear = Higher top speed, better gas mileage.
Higher gear = Better acceleration

60 mph in 6th in an '04 would be about 3200 rpm.
To be running 4200 rpm, you'd have to have 5.10 gearing in the final drive. I've never even heard of any S2000s with this gearing, especially in an AP2.
Something is not right.
