High Mileage F20C...problems?

I don't drive every day, so I don't accumulate mileage very quickly, but I do drive the car hard enough to expect things to break. Knock-wood - so far the only problem I've had is the typical MY00 clutch buzz, which I tolerate because I know it is harmless. Pushing 50k miles now.

109,400 and still going strong Only replaced the clutch, battery, air pump. Just did compression check and all's well. Looking forward to the next 100,000!

Original owner since 9/00. Daily driver, 109,400 and still going strong Only replaced the clutch, battery, air pump. Just did compression check and all's well. Looking forward to the next 100,000!

Just make sure the valves are in spec or adjusted in suggested intervals, good compression, and a strong tranny/diff and you are good to go. These cars are relatively simple compared to most. The other things like powersteering pump, brakes, etc. are going to go out like any other reliable car overtime.

What's all this about timing chain tensioner problems? That's the first I've heard of it on S2000s

60k bought it new did the clutch at 52k, that's it.

Power steering pump will never never go out... because we don't have one

Are cars don't have power steering pumps.
