High Beam Bulb
I just replaced my high beam bulbs with 70 watt gold/yellow bulbs. When I look at it, it is bright as all hell and do light up gold/yellow. However, when I'm behind the wheel driving at night, and turn on the high beams, the difference is hardly noticeable. It wasn't that noticeable either when I had the stock high beam bulbs in. I guess the HID's are just really bright to begin with.
BTW, how many watts is the stock high beam bulbs?

OEM is 55W ... If you don't always use the high beam, using higher wattage shouldn't be a problem. If prolonged use, the bulb glass may explode inside the casing creating a very big mess when used due to high heat discharge and wrong wattage output as well. Proper way is to upgrade the wattage wiring for the bulbs to prevent such ugly mess.
